Las Posadas—a traditional Mexican Christmas celebration—is quickly becoming a cherished custom of both Hispanics and non-Hispanics alike throughout the United States. Reliving Mary and Joseph's search for shelter, the candle-lit procession and traditional songs of the Posadas powerfully inserts us into the mystery and marvel of God's birth among us. This bilingual English-Spanish booklet offers an explanation of the Posadas; directions for its celebration; prayers, lyrics, and music; and suggestions for bilingual celebrations.
